I'm sorry about the silence...I had my surgery on Monday and have been recovering and was sick as a dog on Tuesday as result of the anesthesia. It was like the worst sea-sickness ever with a horrible migraine. I couldn't even lift my head! Things are looking up though and I'm able to move around and do what I need to. The doc said the procedure went great and I should see good results. Of course, I have about 2 months before I can have any clue to that, so we shall see. Thanks for all the wonderful emails and well-wishes!

I probably should have told you that they made David take Tagamet before his surgery to help with nausea! Sorry. I hope your feeling better soon! Love ya!

I'm sorry you were sick! The same thing happened to me after my surgery...they gave me this patch to wear for 24 hours but once it came off I was so nauseous! Glad it has cleared up!
I just wanted to thank you for posting about this surgery. I am experiencing the exact same problem (and I only had a first degree tear.) You have prompted me to see my OB about it. Our relationship has definitely suffered.
Oh my, glad you spoke up to your ob about it and got it "fixed"! Hope your recover has gone well. I think we're in the same boat, I've just been avoiding it, but I think I do have to go see my ob soon. Thanks for reminding me that even with our baby as our priority, we still have to take care of our body (and our relationships!)
